Well, I'm back from camp, and it's taken me nearly this whole week to get into the swing of things again. My usual philosophy of do something Halloween everyday just didn't work this week. I did hit up the dollar stores for some ceramic and dyed hemp garlic strands that are very lifelike. I'm out of mold latex, that really hurts, lol. Got to find some more Michael's coupons to get some. What I really need to focus on now is getting the castle walls built. I can't afford to wait until the last minute like last year. I wish I had indoor room to make and store all this stuff, but it's strictly outdoor for building the big stuff. I'm busy redesigning the prop room with all new storage units, and everything is in one massive pile at the moment. Thank God for freecycle so I can get rid of all the non-Halloween stuff without having to waste it by just throwing it away. Okay, I've got a good stiff drink with me, and I'm ready top head down and tackle the project once again.

    No thoughts being given to Halloween today. Well, almost no thoughts. I'm packing up and heading off for Boy Scout summer camp tomorrow. There is this one spot on the far side of the lake where the geese all drop their feathers, and I have been collecting feathers to make my own raven, so okay, yeah, I am thinking about Hallloween.

   I've been doing nothing but making skulls on top of skulls for my skull fireplace so far. I've got tons of plywood saved up at work, and when I get home, I'll start assembling all the wall sections. I'm going to router out stone shapes, and paint them with the new airbrush I bought. The X-mas to reindeer hack is stalled at the moment. I haven't found just the right fur to use yet. My floating gtreeter is finished for the head of the driveway, but I never posted the how to, because in the excitement of leaving for the PA. gathering, I must have deleted about fifty of the pics, lol. I'll have it up soon.

   I have the whole house up in turmoil while I work on clearing out the garage and prop room. Tons of stuff I've had laying around for years to no good purpose. Thank goodness for freecycle. I'd much rather give it away, than throw it away.

   The only sad thing about clearing out the prop room, is that it used to be my tropical fish room. I made the mistake of turning that hobby into a frish breeding business, and it spoiled the fun of it for me. I'm never going to be foolish enough to do the same with Halloween.

   Oh well, back to packing, and drinking, lol.
