8/17/2005 - Wedding Anniversary

If I knew being married would be this much fun I'd of been married a long time ago....

I love being married. Guess it's the wife. It's not two half people looking to make a whole. It's two whole people looking to make something happen that works. I've never been a 'half of a person'. Neither has Deb. We did our usual trade gifts and cards thing. I got her a nice card and two boxes of chocolate. She got me a hand full of note books, gobs of pens and pencils. This year I scored big! Deb got me an electric pencil sharpener. OK so it's not a BMW but it will go to good use. LOL I've gotten notebooks for Christmas, birthdays and anniversaries for years now. Must have over 150 of them....somewhere....They get put in drawers, boxes, behind things, taken places, left places, taken down to the basement or up to the attic. I think I know where a few of them are. I know for a fact that I've never used more than 4 pages out of any one of them. And the pencils and pens? There's just the two of us in this house and neither one of us can find one when we need it. The gift that keeps on leaving. LOL

 

I think after I mow the lawn I'm going to sit down and watch "it's the great pumpkin Charlie Brown' and "the nightmare before Christmas'. Maybe that'll get me motivated to make props. Or I'll just watch the two flicks and leave the lawn go for another day. Haven't had to mow for 2 months now. No rain and the grass doesn't grow. What's really funny is all my neighbors have been cutting down their dry grass for weeks. Now that it's rained all the lawns around me look just as shabby as mine. And all I've done is sit on my...
