8/14/2005 - I had a dream about Halloween, and I wasn't ready.

It's amazing how fast things in life overtake you when your doing nothing to prepare for them....

Another weekend shot. Still haven't done any work on new Halloween stuff. I guess I have a reason (excuse) for this weekend. Worked 10+ hours then sat in a dentist chair. I'm about mid way through a two year reconstruction project. Can't complain, he doesn't have to break my jaw and put me in a metal cage for a year. That was an option a few years back.

 

Not much into sharing dreams but have to mention this one.

It was Halloween night. I didn't have the yard put together Didn't have any new props done. Wasn't in make-up or costume. And there was TOT's at the door. I opened 4 or 5 bags of full to giant sized  candy bars. The good stuff. Baby Ruth's, Snickers, Kit Kat's and the like. Gave out handfuls of them to the TOT's and walked out onto the porch. It suddenly got real foggy and I thought,

" this really makes our porch light and pumpkin look scary all by itself. But now everything looks scary so it blends in."

and work up.

Am I kicking myself in the butt to get in gear? Or am I letting myself know that as long as I give out candy I'm celebrating the act of giving to strangers and that's all that matters? Or is the deep fog symbolizing my lazyness and my dream thoughts letting me know it wont be anything special without at effort? Well, at least I wasn't necked.
