8/6/2005 - An interesting end ot a bad week....

the ranting continues. Once you get started it's hard to stop before the blood starts flowing......

I was in the break room around 5:30 in the morning when the head of maintenance walks in. I tell him,

"by the way, the emergency switch at the front of my machine still doesn't work."

 

His response was a question...

 

"What do you use that for?"

 

After everyone else in the break room and myself picked our jaws off the floor. I said...

"in case there's an emergency?"

This guy isn't a joker so he wasn't kidding when he asked me that. He's been in hot water for a wile because things in the factory keep breaking down. So now for every machine that needs fixing he's claming that it's an operator's fault. He's even said that the reason some of the machines are breaking down is because we have some radios up to loud.??? I suspect that he'll use this against me and claim that I use the emergency stops to shut the machine down. This is the same guy that didn't want the shut off tests done on the oven because he didn't want to replace defective high voltage beakers. It's ok by him if someone gets burned or electrocuted. As long as he doesn't have to work. Needless to say me and this guy don't get along. It wont surprise me if I'm not in the CEO's office Monday mooring. Depending on what's said will depend if I'm not in a lawyers office later on. I've threatened to take this guy to court for slander once this year already.

 

Still nothing done with the props. If I wait long enough I might get them done for next year. LOL
