Putrid's Crypt

7/26/2005 - More things I've been up to...

If you see everything that happens behind the seens you'd come at me with a straight jacket.....

 

Haven't been lazy. Well OK maybe a little. LOL Yesterday I did some watering outside so I didn't have time to update the crypt.

 

I cut a hand full of 5/8 inch pine into 36 to 38 inch 1 1/2 inch strips. These will make up my cemetery fence. Hate to admit it but I have more than a healthy fear of power tools. I guess the more I use them the more comfortable I'll get. Got them, might as well learn how to use them. I have a 16 inch table top jig saw still in the box. Had it for over 3 years now. LOL

I was able to take the toilet paper mache off my bucky. Still not all the way dry but it holds it's shape.

 

What I've done today....

 

Today I reapplied foil to my bucky and took pics for an upcoming how-to. I think this time I'll try paining the glue mix on instead of dipping the toilet paper into it. I'm also thinking about just using a mix of water and white glue. Still waiting for the toilet paper mache to dry......
