7/20/2005 - experomenting, possible new prop and how to if it works....

If I wanted to act like an adult I would have started that habit years ago.....

 

Had a blast at work last night. Ended up washing glass. Big washer with a conveyer running through it. Cleans, rinses and dries it for you. I added liquid soap, about a quarter of the container. It didn't need soap. And definitely not that much. Ended up with a volcano of suds. A good three feet high and couldn't tell you how wide. Most of it was under the machine. Every time I walked by I would fan it as hard as I could with tag board sending suds and bubbles 16 or more feet into the air. Till my boss walked by. Putting his hands on his hips and shaking his head he said,

"It doesn't need that much soap. Use a little squirt."

"Your lIttle squirt or my little squirt? My little squirt is bigger than your little squirt. It's genetics."

He grinned, shook his head and walked away. He gives up to easy. Either that or he's worked with me long enough to know it's a loosing battle. LOL

 

Now on to the prop...

I get lumber free form the dumpster at work. Must have 60 or more 7ft by 5 1/2 pine boards. Been thinking about making coffins. I was hoping someone would list a link in Empress Nightshade's thread asking for a how to using fence slats. Not like I haven't tried things on my own before. I only tell folks about the stuff that works so this is a first for me.LOL  The only thing I have figured out is I need to make 22 1/2 angles on all the angled pieces at the top. The angle I choose for the sides will tell me what angle I need to cut the toe piece. Haven't decided on that angle yet. I'll try making the top part first. If I can get that together then I'll worry about the rest of it. No sense getting ahead of myself.
