The best laid plans of mice and men..... This has been the busiest late summer season I have had in 15 years.  In my garage sit unfinished tombstones, and it looks like due to my schedule, I wont be having a really big display this year, as I am actually working on Halloween.  Makeing other peoples party fantastic.  Guess I have a jump on next year, I am going to the House of Mouse the second week in October to fullfill a promise I made to a dear friend.  After a courageous fight my best friends wife has beaten cancer into submission.  it has taken 3 years to get to this point, for the last year she has been clear of any cancerous cells.  She found out right after her son was born that she had cancer, and in the midst of the drugs and chemo, I asked if she could have just one thing to make her dig in deep and fight this thing, what would it be.  She looked at me and said to be able to take my son to Disney.  Wifey and I have a Vacation club condo on Disney property, our grandchildren love it.  It has taken 3 years to fullfill her wish, and thanks be to the powers everywhere, we are all going for a week and that includes some special Halloween things for her son and Breakfast for Brett, Sue and little Zane with chef Mickey.   Let me wax a little profound for a sec,  guys it doesnt take something big like this to make a person smile.  a simple word of greeting, a smile, a genuine how's it going can make the difference in a persons life.  So do that random act of kindness, you heart will be happy, and it will make your soul smile.....  Duke
