2008's theme... Revenge of the Gray Ghosts!

We visited Gettysburg for the battle reenactment this year and that inspired us to tap into civil war history for our haunt in 2008.  Our story involves lost love, North vs. South and of course a little black magic to awaken ghost soldiers in a quest for revenge.  You can find out more on our website...  www.geocities.com/costumes5by5 or check out our intro video on You Tube   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w95FjAwus0 (Revenge of the Gray Ghosts). 

This year we plan to build an air cannon (the low tech way) and some fence rows and tents for the backyard of the walkthrough.  We are planning to visit Busch Gardens Hall-O-Scream so we might be inspired to do a few more projects before Halloween.  We're also considering a monster mud project that isn't theme-related for our mailbox area.    We'll see how the next month goes to see how much gets done.
