Wow, its been awhile

I havent done this in awhile.  My Halloween was a great success and was the best yet
I even made the news!  We are going to keep the pirates for this year but expect something completely new for 2007.

I have been doing a ton lately, which includes looking for a hearse, trying to get a Halloween related business setup, and getting my yard display together.  Well thats about it for now...

A Great Day For Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today I woke up early and started corpsifying.  After I had gotten a few arms and legs done I went out to look for costume stuff.  I went to a store, recomended by someone on Halloween Forum, called Flossy Mcgrew's. So I get there and the whole fornt of the store is covered in silver bones!  There was a bench out front made of blucky parts that had been painted silver.  I  go inside and the first thing I notice is all of there hearse memorabila.  My second love (behind Halween) is hearses, so this was great!  I go further back in the store and am  in a HUGE room filled with costumes.  The pirate clothes are quickly found and tried on.  I got the perfect jacket (red and brown w/ cotails) for $40 and a nice ruffly shirt for $30.  It was a little pricey but definately worth it.  If you live in Denver, CO,  visit Flossy McGrews on Broadway!

Then I went to the mall to see Corpse Bride.  It was great.  The animation was cool the story was interesting and it was just plain fun!  I did like Nightmare Before Christmas better, but I've loved that movie forever.

Finally I swung by Target and picked up a pair of sweat pants to for my costume (dont worry, I'm gonna distress them).

All in all, a great day!

Halloween is Aproaching!

Halloween is coming fast any I still have so much to do!  I have started corpisifying and putting my costume together.  I have rounded up alot of help so projects should get done fairly quickly.  A few weeks ago at PartyCity I got these small lantern for $1 a peice!  When I got them they were green, but after about 10 coats of spraypaint they are red.  I am going to put LEDs in them like Spooky Blues fireblobs, except mine will have 1 yellow flasher and 1 yellow normal.  I am going to start the LEDs this weekend.  Hopefully I will get the bluckies done next week.

Also bad news, I just got informed that I have to go on a trip from Oct. 24-28

Stop reading and start working on Halloween!
