9/7/2005 - Half-Buried Coffin

I have begun work on my Half-Buried Coffin that my Emerging Zombie Prop will be coming out of.  I drew it out on graph paper last night and worked up how much lumber I will need.  I plan on making the sides out of 2x4 with a Plywood backing.  Shouldn't be too hard to make.

I went ahead and cut out a top section and two side sections out of leftover piece of 2x4 I had laying around to see if my measurements would work.  They look to be ok :)  I hope to get a lot of work done on it today.

I would say that so far this year I have gotten quite a bit done and am pretty proud of my progress.  I do have quite a bit more that I want to make though :)
