Halloween Is Coming!

WHOO HOO!! It's Octember!! The perfect month for me to totally blend in Halloween with everything I do! Since the weather has been bad lately its been pretty cool outside too thus further making me want it to be Halloween.

Had a great shopping day today. I think I hit every store that had anything to do with Halloween and fall today. First and foremost I went to Michaels to pick up some more decorations. Didn't get much while I was there but I did get some cute stuff.

1. A box of fake fall leaves! Go figure!
2. 2 tiny fake pumpkins.
3.. A small orange and black wagon to put the leaves and tiny pumpkins in!

Only spent $10 today on the stuff but they all fit very well together and they are going to go at the end of my mantle. I have already started building the mantle I had the dream about! Think its going to look great in the end.

Also today I hit ALL of the big Halloween costume stores. Looking for accessories to go wtih my Alice costume and just looking around at the stuff they had in general.

First stop was Halloween Express: They had the same things they had last year, and the year before that. That used to be the only Halloween store in the area so thats the only place I would go to, and I would go there maybe every other day when October rolled around just looking at stuff. But I didn't really see anything I liked there very much. They hadn't got all of thier stuff out yet there were boxes sitting around and some walls were completely bare.

I then left there and Shot over to Party City which was just down the road. Party City had a ton of cool stuff there! But unfortunately they too had not finished putting it all out and were still stocking a lot of stuff while I was in there. I did find something cool though, a blunderbus pistol in thier pirate section. May get one of those as another accessory to my Alice costume. She did have a blunderbus in the game.

After some lunch I decided to head out to the brand new Spirit store. Hooray! It was open this time and WOW when I walked in I saw nothing but Halloween for miles. The store was huge and filled up with Halloween stuff. And I couldn't tell it at all but one of the guys working in there said they hadn't got everything in yet! It was like my own personal Halloween Wonderland. I looked at everything they had in there two or three times. They had just about everythign I could think of.... Except a petticoat for my Alice costume. Kind of sucked but I asked about it and they guy said since they hadn't got all thier stuff in yet he would see if they can throw in an order for one of those too! I was so excited!

So thats pretty much my Tuesday for today! Had tons of fun just looking at all the Halloween stuff! Also the new decorations just keep piling and piling up in the garage. Can't wait for October 1st to come so I can start putting them all out and decorating! It's going to be a blast!
