96 Days and Counting!

Hooray!  I finally got my own Halloween Blog set up! So now those who would like can keep track of CreepyKitty's ongoing Halloween season!  Note though I am only going to update this blog until November 2nd, when Halloween is officially over for me.  But for now its going to be a log of everything and everything that is my Halloween!

Well today kicked off my annual "Decorations-Getting-Time"  lol.  My mom and I went to Michaels today, they had out ALL thier Halloween stuff so of course I was like a kitten with some cat-nip.  I am kind of on a short income for now so I only bought 2 things:

A Beautiful silk fall leaf garland to put on my mantle for fall.
A set of little corked jars that were decorated all witchy that said things like "Eye of Newt", "Toe of Frog", and "Witch's Brew".  They were so cute I am going to place them in the kitchen for this Halloween.  I think they will go perfectly.

Thats all I got for today though, but since this is my time to go out and get decorations, I can go out every two weeks and get different things and it won't be all at one time to save money.  But when October is near I am going to start going every week to pick up the slack.  Also saw some great little jars I could get for my party for the Alcoholic beverages.  May have to just spend one day buying up about 12 or 13 of those to use for "The Mad Tea Party".

Also today my mom took my measurements so I could order my Alice costume for my party AND Halloween.  Its such an awesome costume I will be wearing it the entire Halloween weekend.  Put the order in for it today and it should be here in 6-8 weeks.  I can't wait!!

I am ordering it so early because about two years ago, my husband got a custom made Nazgul Lord Of the Rings Costume and he ordered it in Mid-September and it got to us TWO days before Halloween!!  We were SO scared it wasn't going to get here on time.  We wanted to avoid another one of those scares.  hehe.  So if I get it early its always no big deal.  The only big deal will be resisting to wear it constantly before Halloween!

*Purrss* I just can't wait for Halloween at this point I am so excited thats why I created this blog so I can talk about it whenever I want and log all the Halloween things I am doing so I don't drive my husband crazy talking about Halloween constantly.  But don't get be wrong he is a huge Halloween person too just not in the middle of the summer.  :P
